Management Accountant

Robert Walters are partnering with a client who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team at the start of January 2027 to cover a 1 year maternity cover.

This role will be based onsite in their St Albans office and will form part of a Management Accounts team of 4.

Responsibilities of the role would include (but isn't limited to):

• Prepare and review the monthly Management Accounts for all companies, building out the reporting packs to include commentary.


• Maintain & reconcile account schedules including Fixed Assets, Payroll, Pre payments & Accruals


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• Production of the daily sales report


• Ad hoc reporting & analysis.


• Budgeting & forecasting

The client is considering candidates who hold a recognised Accountancy Qualification e.g ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA or those candidates who are qualified by experience.

This opportunity is paying up to £65,000DOE.
