Management Accountant (Fully Qualified)

REED is partnered with growing company in the logistics sector in the appointment of a new Management Accountant to join their team.

This is truly an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to significantly shape the finance function within a rapidly growing company that values smart processes and insightful reporting.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage Core Finance Activities: Take full responsibility for management accounts, journals, reconciliations and period-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage.


• Maintain Financial Integrity: Oversee intercompany reconciliations, resolve balance sheet discrepancies and uphold clear, auditable records across a complex group structure.


• Implement new processes: Continuously seek smarter, more efficient ways of working, using automation and process improvements to drive operational effectiveness.


• Provide Strategic Insight: Use your understanding of the cold storage and logistics industry to deliver meaningful analysis and support informed decision-making.


• Build Strong Partnerships: Collaborate with finance leaders and stakeholders across the group to align processes, enhance reporting and support business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with 2 + of relevant experience in finance or accounting


• Comfortable with ERP systems and confident in using Excel.


• Hands-on approach with a readiness to take on more responsibilities and make a significant impact.
