Management accountant

We are partnering with a highly regarded private equity-backed technology business in North London to recruit an exceptional Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically strong finance professional, ideally trained within a Top 10 audit firm and bringing either proven industry experience or a strong background in management accounting within a commercial environment.

The organisation has grown into a multi-million-pound company with a nationwide presence and a workforce of around 100 employees. With a strong focus on data, digital transformation, and operational efficiency, the business is continuing to scale rapidly while modernising its systems, processes, and commercial capabilities.

Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.


• Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making processes.


• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.


• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.


• Prepare and review VAT returns and other statutory compliance documents.


• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.


• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.


• Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors when required.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA


• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.


• Experience within the business services industry is desirable.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 per annum.
