Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic business decisions.


• Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.


• Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures within the department.


• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.


• Collaborate with other departments to deliver financial insights and support business growth.


• Oversee cash flow management and provide recommendations for improvement.


• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent education in Accounting & Finance.


• Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounting within the retail industry.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.


• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
