Description
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and financial efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures across departments.
- Identify areas for cost optimisation and process improvement.
- Support the wider Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as required.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a management accounting role within the business services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive daily rate of £270 - £330, paid in GBP.
