This role reports into the Finance Manager.
To contribute to the achievement of the Lake business strategies and the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation by:
- Producing the monthly management accounts and supporting the business on a daily basis through business partnering.
- Providing effective and efficient management accounts and financial information.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and accounting standards.
- Contribute to business improvement projects and adhoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Support daily banking reconciliations
- Euro cash flow forecasting
- Monitor purchase ledger inboxes
- Update NetSuite exchange rate costings
- Collaborate with the business services team
- Process expenses and resolve issues and queries
- Prepare management accounts
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Assist in system development
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with annual P11D \& PSA submissions
- Support year\-end processes with external auditors
- Training
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), or currently studying towards qualification with a strong growth mindset
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Ability to deliver accurate information within deadlines and with limited supervision
- Sound finance knowledge with previous accounting experience
- Good understanding of profit \& loss and balance sheet reporting
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar systems desirable
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced Excel knowledge
Pay: Up to £45,000\.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Redditch B98 9PA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
