Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced Brain injury support workers to support our client. Our client is a male who is in his early 20’s. He sustained traumatic brain injury when he was 12 years old. He sustained frontal lobe injury, therefore experience in managing behaviours and de\-escalating potential triggers will be desirable.
Our client lives in Ashford, and you will be working on 2:1 basis. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance his independence, daily structure, respecting boundaries, wellbeing and community engagement.
Due to the client’s communication and comprehension needs, applicants must be able to speak fluent, clear English and communicate effectively using a standard English accent that the client can easily understand.
This requirement forms part of the client’s assessed care plan and has been identified by professionals as necessary to ensure effective communication, reduce anxiety, and maintain safety.

Due to the client needs we are seeking for males only, who can drive and have access to their own vehicle.
Hours
Mon – Sun 08\.00\-20\.00
Sleeping Nights ( Monday to Sunday) \- 20\.00\-08\.00
Pay
Mon – Fri 08\.00\- 20\.00 \- £204; Sleeping Night \- £162\.72
Sat \- 08\.00\-20\.00 \- £222; Sleeping Night \-£ 176\.04
Sun \- 08\.00\-20\.00 \-£240; Sleeping Night \- £176\.04
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client , ensuring best practices and a person\-centered approach.
- Assist with medication management and help service users attend health appointments.
- Ensure accurate record\-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day and evening. The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, challenging behaviour, attention to detail and have a can\-do attitude.
An enhanced DBS check \& full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
