REED Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming school in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis.

  • Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and participation.

  • Helping students overcome barriers to learning.

  • Creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, adaptable, and positive attitude.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
