Maintenance Technician - Estates

The shift pattern for this post is: Monday \- Thursday 08:00 \- 16:00, 15:30 on a Friday or 5 week shift rota.

Mechanical
Glasgow Royal Infirmary requires a Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join the Operational Estates team to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus.
The post holder must be a time served mechanical engineer, having completed a recognized mechanical apprenticeship, and qualified to SVQ/HNC level (or currently working towards this qualification), with a minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience.
While the primary role of the post holder will be to carry out mechanical tasks, they will be part of a multi\-skilled technical team and will be responsible for the delivery of specialist technical services for a wide range of duties in relation to all disciplines of building services, including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, building and electrical systems. It is essential that the post holder accepts a wide range of cross trade duties post training to deliver a high standard of service, whilst planning and prioritising their workload
Electrical
Glasgow Royal Infirmary requires a Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join the Operational Estates team to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus.
The post holder must be a time served electrician and be qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations. Have completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship, and qualified to SVQ/HNC level with a minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience.
While the primary role of the post holder will be to carry out electrical tasks, they will be part of a multi\-skilled technical team and will be responsible for the delivery of specialist technical services for a wide range of duties in relation to all disciplines of building services, including, but not limited to, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, building and electrical systems. It is essential that the post holder accepts a wide range of cross trade duties post training to deliver a high standard of service, whilst planning and prioritising their workload.
