Maintenance Person

Job Summary

We have an opportunity for you to join us at the Red Lion Hotel.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong experience in commercial electrics, plumbing as well as General Maintenance.

You will be responsible for the general day to day maintenance requirements in the hotel.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing routine maintenance checks within hotel as per procedures


• Carrying out ad hoc and emergency repairs


• Basic painting, plumbing and electrical work are essential


• Working alongside the housekeeping team


• Working alongside external consultants to maintain and repair specialist equipment eg. plant and machinery.

To succeed you must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative with limited supervision and at all times you must be respectful of the guests and residents.

Previous experience within similar job roles will be advantageous such as: Caretaker, Property Maintenance, Trades person, Tradesman, Handy person, Handyman, Plumber, Electrician, , Painter, Decorator, Maintenance Assistant .

Pay: £13\.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16\.0 – 24\.0 per week
