The Maintenance Assistant key purpose is to work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all areas of the hotel are maintained in proper working order, to the highest possible standards \- this in turn ensures the health and safety of all staff and guests at all times.

. Check maintenance log and report daily to the Maintenance Manager for allocated duties.

· Collect bulbs list on a daily basis and replace all blown light bulbs as required.
· Collect rubbish from all areas of the Hotel and remove to the skip area
· To work in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager and to help rectify/repair whatever is needed.
· To ensure that due care and diligence is taken when carrying out tasks to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
· To ensure that correct safety signage and security measures are in place taken to warn others of dangers hereby minimising risk of injury.
· To liaise directly with Maintenance Manager and Hotel Management in relation to issues that require the attention of maintenance.
· Descaling of Shower Heads in each of the hotel bathrooms. (Every 3 month rotation)
· Cleaning of extraction fans. (Monthly)
· Internal painting

· To ensure that a full handover is given at the end of your day to update Maintenance Manager and Hotel Management on issues.
