We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance AC / HVAC Engineer to join our growing facilities management team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive fault finding, and emergency repair of varied heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial, retail, and corporate client sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled PPM tasks on commercial AC systems (VRV, VRF, Split systems) and general HVAC plants.

  • System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults within ventilation and cooling infrastructure.

  • Component Replacement: Change out compressors, fan motors, belts, filters, and electrical control boards safely.

  • Compliance \& Logbooks: Maintain meticulous local site logbooks and digital service sheets via mobile asset tracking apps.

  • F\-Gas Compliance: Conduct regular leak testing, gas reclamation, and tracking in strict alignment with European and Irish environmental regulations.

  • Client Relations: Act as a professional, customer\-facing representative on\-site to explain technical updates to facility managers.
Required Qualifications \& Experience
  • Trade Qualification: National Craft Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a relevant equivalent mechanical/electrical trade qualification.

  • F\-Gas Certification: Valid Category 1 F\-Gas Certification is strictly mandatory.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands\-on experience maintaining commercial AC/HVAC environments.

  • Driving Licence: Full, clean Irish/EU B\-category driving licence.

  • Safety Certifications: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are required.
Desirable Skills
  • Safe Electric D1/D2 domestic electrical certification.

  • Experience navigating building management systems (BMS).

  • Training in working at heights and confined spaces.
Pay: €55,000\.00\-€70,000\.00 per year
