<p data-start="487" data-end="864">We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable <strong data-start="538" data-end="571">Speech and Language Therapist</strong> to support students within a <strong data-start="601" data-end="646">mainstream Further Education (FE) setting</strong> across three campuses in North London. This role focuses on working with approximately <strong data-start="734" data-end="749">70 students</strong>, supporting communication, language, and learning needs to help young people thrive in an educational environment.</p>
<p data-start="866" data-end="1195">This opportunity is ideal for a Band 6 or Band 7 clinician who enjoys varied and dynamic work. The role offers a balance of <strong data-start="990" data-end="1079">small group interventions, classroom observation, targeted 1:1 support where required</strong>, and <strong data-start="1085" data-end="1105">staff upskilling</strong>, making it well suited to therapists who enjoy a consultative and collaborative approach.</p>

<h3 data-start="1202" data-end="1226">Key Responsibilities</h3>
<p data-start="1227" data-end="1250">In this role, you will:</p>
<ul data-start="1251" data-end="2001">
<li data-start="1251" data-end="1373">
<p data-start="1253" data-end="1373">Assess and support students with <strong data-start="1286" data-end="1337">Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)</strong> within a mainstream FE environment.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1374" data-end="1492">
<p data-start="1376" data-end="1492">Deliver a mix of <strong data-start="1393" data-end="1422">small group interventions</strong>, classroom-based support, and limited 1:1 sessions where appropriate.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1493" data-end="1598">
<p data-start="1495" data-end="1598">Carry out <strong data-start="1505" data-end="1531">classroom observations</strong> to inform intervention planning and inclusive teaching strategies.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1599" data-end="1730">
<p data-start="1601" data-end="1730">Provide <strong data-start="1609" data-end="1667">training and upskilling for teaching and support staff</strong> to promote effective communication strategies across campuses.</p>
</li>

<p data-start="1733" data-end="1831">Work collaboratively with education staff and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1832" data-end="1920">
<p data-start="1834" data-end="1920">Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.</p>

<p data-start="1923" data-end="2001">Contribute to reviews, planning meetings, and service development initiatives.</p>

<h3 data-start="2008" data-end="2041">Qualifications and Experience</h3>
<p data-start="2042" data-end="2088">To be considered for this role, you must have:</p>
<ul data-start="2089" data-end="2579">
<li data-start="2089" data-end="2162">
<p data-start="2091" data-end="2162">A recognised <strong data-start="2104" data-end="2145">degree in Speech and Language Therapy</strong> (or equivalent).</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2163" data-end="2285">
<p data-start="2165" data-end="2285"><strong data-start="2165" data-end="2186">HCPC registration</strong> and eligibility for membership of the <strong data-start="2225" data-end="2284">Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)</strong>.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2286" data-end="2371">
<p data-start="2288" data-end="2371">Experience working with <strong data-start="2312" data-end="2358">young people in educational or FE settings</strong> (desirable).</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2372" data-end="2451">
<p data-start="2374" data-end="2451">Confidence delivering <strong data-start="2396" data-end="2425">group-based interventions</strong> and consultative support.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2452" data-end="2517">
<p data-start="2454" data-end="2517">Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.</p>
