Machine Operator/Process Worker

Reporting to the C2 Production Manager, as a Process Operator you’ll be responsible for carrying out the production of the manufacturing process on a designated production cell (cross\-training will be provided). This will involve producing sheet lead using various machine methods; rolling mill, slitter, saw operation.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
· Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
· Highlighting and communicating faults which may cause production delay
· Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
· Maintaining accurate records of production, and any other operational data as requested by the Team Leader
· Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
· Promoting and adhering to the company’s system and procedures at all times
What will I need to be considered for this Process Operator role?
· Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Reach FLT Licence is desirable
· A flexible approach to work

Working Hours: Average 36 hours per week on rotating shifts:
Week 1 \- Mon\-Thu 0545\-1345, Fri 0600\-1500
Week 2 \- Mon\-Thu 1330\-2215
Flexibility is needed to work both of the above shifts.

Pay: £16\.44 per hour
