Machine Operator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to work on night shifts to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a business committed to sustainability and recycling, playing an important role in helping to reduce waste and support environmentally responsible practices.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a proactive, hardworking individual who can remain focused and productive throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating recycling and processing machinery safely and efficiently.


• Loading, unloading, and processing mattresses and recyclable materials.


• Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties.


• Monitoring machinery and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.


• Sorting and separating recyclable components.


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.


• Following all health and safety procedures.

• A hardworking, active, and switched-on individual.


• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting.


• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.


• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.


• Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.


• Previous machine operating, production, or recycling experience is advantageous but not essential.


• Due to the location and timing off shifts, own transport is advantageous

• Full training provided.
