About the Role We're looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and support the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of Cardiff projects. This role is ideal for someone confident in cost management who's ready to take ownership of key commercial duties and progress within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities • Cost reporting - Prepare detailed cost plans, forecasts, and financial updates.
- Measurement & BOQs - Produce accurate quantities and tender documentation.
- Procurement - Assess subcontractor quotations and lead tender analyses.
- Valuations & variations - Manage monthly valuations, change control, and variation assessments.
- Contract administration - Oversee NEC/JCT documentation and ensure commercial compliance.
- Stakeholder coordination - Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support smooth project delivery.
- Strong understanding of building services and commercial processes.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Proactive, organised, and confident managing commercial responsibilities.
- Clear progression opportunities into Senior QS roles.
