Moving Intelligence is a European Mobility Data Solutions business specialising in vehicle security and fleet management. We operate across the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany and France through a portfolio of established brands, with rapidly growing revenues and international expansion.

One of our main investors is Volpi Capital, a European private equity firm, and we operate as their platform for buy\-and\-build acquisitions in the Mobility Data Solutions market. We are pursuing an active M\&A agenda across our core geographies, with several acquisitions completed in recent years and a strong pipeline of further targets under review.

As is common for private equity\-backed businesses, a change of ownership will take place at some point in the future.

About the role

We are creating a new role to own and drive the M\&A workstream for the group. The role reports directly to the CFO and works alongside the existing M\&A \& Integration Manager, who focuses on post\-deal integration.

The mandate is to lead M\&A end to end: from finding targets and conducting outreach, through forming a clear commercial view, to running diligence and driving deals to close. When the time comes, the candidate will also act as the operational point of contact for the company's own exit process, working closely with advisors, bankers and prospective buyers.

This is a high\-visibility role with direct exposure to the CFO, the CEO and Volpi Capital, and regular exposure to senior external counterparties including private equity firms, advisors and intermediaries in the M\&A market.

Key responsibilities

M\&A origination and execution

• Own the M\&A pipeline end\-to\-end


• Lead origination: market mapping, target identification, advisor and intermediary outreach, and building a network of relevant contacts


• Form clear, commercially grounded views on which targets to pursue and which to pass on, and defend those views with senior stakeholders


• Lead transaction execution: valuation, financial modelling, due diligence coordination and structuring


• Manage external advisors through deal processes and drive deals to a conclusion

• Act as the primary day\-to\-day point of contact for sell\-side advisors, bankers and prospective buyers


• Support data room build, due diligence preparation and Q\&A in partnership with the M\&A and Integration Manager


• Produce KPI analyses, financial models and management presentations

Experience

• At least four to six years of relevant transaction experience


• Background in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction services


• Demonstrable track record of leading or playing a substantive role in M\&A transactions, ideally across both buy\-side and sell\-side processes


• Experience working with private equity owners is an advantage

• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills


• Confident in leading commercial and financial due diligence


• Comfortable producing high\-quality outputs for senior audiences (board, sponsor, external counterparties)


• Sound understanding of transaction mechanics and process management

• Proactive and energetic: the role is defined by ownership and initiative, not by waiting for direction


• Strong sense of urgency and a track record of driving processes forward


• Confident and credible in front of senior external counterparties, including advisors and PE deal teams


• Comfortable forming and defending commercial views with senior stakeholders


• Resilient and adaptable in a high\-tempo, deal\-driven environment

• Fluent in English (working language of the group)

• A central role in the M\&A workstream of a PE\-backed business


• Direct exposure to private equity ownership, executive leadership and the European M\&A market


• Genuine ownership of the M\&A pipeline, from origination through to close


• A supportive working relationship with an experienced CFO


• The opportunity to operate at a senior level within a growing, internationally active group

Pay: €8\.000,00 \- €10\.000,00 per month
