- Coordinating product roadmaps to achieve performance, competitiveness, and cost targets.
- Ensuring the competitiveness of the product portfolio in terms of technology and cost.
- Validating and homologating products while maintaining compliance with evolving regulations and standards.
- Observing market trends and identifying portfolio or technology gaps to drive strategic actions.
- Collaborating closely with the Rolling Stock (RS) Platform to align product strategies.
- Supporting tenders by confirming product definitions, variability, and gaps, and participating in final tender validations.

- Maintaining up\-to\-date product documentation and definitions.
- Overseeing Product Approval Board (PAB) and Product Review Board (PRB) management for new R\&D programs.
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent education with relevant experience.
- Experience in engineering or sub\-system management (minimum 5 years).
- Strong knowledge and expertise in traction technology and manufacturing processes.
- Specific understanding of traction/vehicle design to see the "big picture."

- Excellent communication and coordination skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long\-term career free from boring daily routines.
- Work with cutting\-edge technologies and new advancements in traction systems.
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams and supportive colleagues.
- Contribute to innovative, industry\-leading projects.
- Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment.
- Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
- Benefit from our investment in your development, through award\-winning learning opportunities.
- Progress towards senior leadership roles or other exciting career pathways within Alstom.
- Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).
