The Opportunities
Domestic Loss Adjusters • Manage a portfolio of household property claims from instruction through to settlement.
- Conduct site visits and investigations.
- Assess policy coverage, liability, and quantum.
- Liaise with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and brokers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the claims journey.
- Investigate the cause and extent of losses.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to insurer clients.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with brokers, business owners, and insurers.
- Negotiate settlements and drive claims to conclusion.
- Assess liability and quantum issues.
- Interview witnesses and gather evidence.
- Work closely with solicitors, insurers, and insured parties.
- Produce detailed technical reports and recommendations.
- Lead investigations into significant commercial, industrial, and catastrophic losses.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including forensic experts, surveyors, accountants, and legal professionals.
- Build trusted relationships with key insurer and broker clients.
- Deliver strategic claims solutions on complex cases.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to your area of expertise.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and work autonomously.
- Strong customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence (for field-based roles).
- Insurance qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) advantageous.
