Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate our delivery operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure efficient and cost\-effective logistics processes. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics systems and materials handling. The Logistics Supervisor will play a key part in optimising workflow, maintaining safety standards, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations.


• Oversee the utilisation of transportation management systems (TMS),


• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.


• Oversee loading procedures to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.


• Liaise with driver and customers.


• Liaise with service providers


• Ensure compliance with health \& safety regulations across all logistics activities.


• Fleet Management

• Proven experience in logistics management


• Strong knowledge of category management, process improvement, and supply chain principles.


• Proficiency in data analysis skills for reporting and optimisation purposes.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.


• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving operational goals.


• Good understanding of health \& safety standards within warehousing/delivery environments. Tuesday to Saturday

Sunday and Monday days off
