Your Job:
As the Logistics Specialist EMEA at Brooks you’re responsible for day\-to\-day operations and related transportation activities to support EMEA logistics and distribution for Brooks products. You will manage activities that include; Distributor Purchase Order vendor exception management, EMEA shipment and document processing, export shipment processing, Distributor delivery coordination, Distributor footwear \& apparel sample programs, Processing and shipping documentation. You will partner with the US Logistics, US Trade Compliance, EMEA Distribution, Finance, Footwear \& Apparel operations and Brooks Subsidiary teams to support EMEA supply chain execution.
Your Responsibilities:
- Organize international transportation including domestic inbound delivery to the EMEA/UK distribution center and other domestic locations for Brooks purchase orders
- Perform daily shipment operations and document coordination with EMEA 3PL and other related groups
- Organize transportation for direct shipments from Asia to EMEA Distributors and Key\-Account customers, for Brooks customer orders
- Review and approve Factory invoices for Distributor Purchase orders and release via GT Nexus
- Manage global footwear and apparel sample programs
- Process export shipments for third countries including coordination with internal and external parties, booking arrangements, documentation, delivery and bonded warehouse documentation follow up for orders to destinations worldwide
- Serve as a point of contact for all Ocean\- Air freight service providers related issues at EMEA Logistics department
- Audit Carrier freight invoices and other related bills from logistics service providers
- Represent the Logistics team on EMEA and global special projects
- Analyze Logistics KPI reports and draw conclusions and take decision based on the data
- Compile data and maintain benchmarking reports for performance measurements and quality management
- Update logistics data in ERP and carrier systems to ensure information is up\-to\-date and accurate (including pricing and logistics costing data).
- Maintain standard operating procedures, work manuals, vendor guides and general Logistics procedure documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in supply chain, international studies or business), or equivalent experience in related fields (Speditions\- Industrie\- or Groß\-und Außenhandels Kaufmann).
- 1\+ years of work experience or equivalent background in international trade, logistics and transportation.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, etc.), required.
- Proficiency with Infor M3 / IDM and GT Nexus are a plus but not mandatory.
- Fluency in German and English (absolute must), other European language skills are a great plus.
- Understanding and experience operating as an EMEA bonded warehouse, a plus.
- Working knowledge of incoterms 2020, harmonized tariff code and international trade rules.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication, required.
