Job Details:

• 4 on 4 off Nights \- 18:00pm \- 06:00am


• Hourly Pay: £13\.71


• Overtime Rate: 125% of the hourly rate after 42\.5 hours


• Unsociable hours premium rate: 15% between 0:00am \- 06:00am.


• Annual Leave: 20 days, including bank holidays pro rata.

Purpose:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail\-oriented Logistics Operatives to join our team at Newport. Reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, you will play a vital role in receiving, processing, picking, and dispatching incoming and outgoing stock and orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order picking \& handling: Pick products accurately based on pick lists/dispatch notes and prepare them for further processing. Picking orders, loading/offloading raw materials and finished goods using Power


• Organising stock: Manage incoming and outgoing products effectively.


• Storage: Store products in designated cooler locations while maintaining accurate stock rotation.


• Stock monitoring: Identify and report overstocks, shortages, and deviations to supervisors or planners.


• Stock counting: Participate in stock counts as required.


• Product handling: Ensure safe handling of products to prevent damage.


• Housekeeping: Keep the cooler organised and maintain company housekeeping standards.


• Documentation: Record intake/dispatch notes and complete paperwork accurately and on time.


• Communication: Report maintenance issues and collaborate with team members to address them.


• Flexibility: Be available for extra shifts when required.

Other tasks may be assigned based on the needs of the business.

Essential Skills \& Knowledge:

• Warehouse experience (chilled environment \+5\) at least 1 year


• Communicative English

Desirable Skills \& Knowledge:

• Experience with FIFO (First\-In, First\-Out) procedures.


• Knowledge of floral products, including varieties of flowers, greenery, and finished goods.
