Logistics Operations Specialist

As a Logistics Operations Specialist , you’ll help keep materials, parts, and information moving reliably across daily supply chain and warehouse activities at BAKON in Goes , the Netherlands, in an on\-site role.

We design and build bakery equipment for the food industry, and your work will support operational continuity in a fast\-moving, active environment. You’ll make a direct contribution to accuracy, coordination, and service quality across the business. You’ll also help strengthen long\-term performance by working closely with others and by suggesting practical improvements to the way we work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Process engineering packages, purchase orders, and outsourced work in the ERP system with accuracy and discipline.


• Monitor supplier orders and deliveries, maintain clear communication, and follow up on open actions consistently.


• Receive, inspect, register, and store incoming goods according to established procedures.


• Process outgoing goods and prepare shipments for service parts with care and precision.


• Monitor stock levels, support periodic inventory counts, and manage the separate handling of rejected goods.


• Coordinate daily with colleagues across logistics, projects, service, and external partner locations, so work moves forward smoothly in a team\-focused environment.


• Handle a significant daily workload while identifying practical ways to improve workflows, communication, and inventory processes, so the team can work more efficiently and effectively.

• You’ll work closely with colleagues across logistics, supply chain, projects, and service, and your success will depend on open communication, mutual support, and respect for different perspectives.


• You’ll be part of a collaborative team where people help each other, share ideas, and work together to improve daily operations and support BAKON’s continued success.

• You’ll bring vocational education in a technical field, or comparable experience gained through relevant logistics or operational support work.


• You’ll have experience in a similar role involving warehouse operations, logistics administration, supply chain support, or goods handling.


• You’ll be comfortable working in an ERP environment and managing transactional data with a high level of accuracy. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office tools.


• You’ll understand core warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, identification, stock control, shipping, and inventory counting.


• You’ll be able to manage a busy workload, stay organized under pressure, and maintain quality in a dynamic day\-to\-day environment.


• You’ll communicate clearly with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and you’ll work well with others in a collaborative, team\-based setting.


• You’ll bring a careful, dependable, and improvement\-minded approach, with the confidence to suggest better ways of working and the judgment to act responsibly in daily operations.
