Logistics Operations Coordinator

Our client, a highly respected international freight forwarding and logistics provider, is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to join their growing team based in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service, or logistics experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Monday to Friday pm

The Role You will be responsible for coordinating operational activities, monitoring shipments, resolving queries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting key client accounts to ensure performance targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities • Monitoring and tracking international shipments

• Maintaining accurate operational records and documentation


• Preparing transport and shipping paperwork


• Coordinating courier bookings and transport arrangements


• Liaising with internal departments, warehouses, and external partners


• Supporting customer accounts and service delivery objectives


• Investigating and resolving operational queries


• Assisting with returns management and shipment planning


• Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within required timescales


• Escalating operational issues where necessary

Key Skills: • Previous experience within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, administration, or customer service environments would be advantageous

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• High attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously


• Confident working both independently and as part of a team


• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
