Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for an organised and customer\-focused Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth scheduling and delivery of customer orders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude. Previous logistics experience is beneficial but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
The Role
As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day\-to\-day coordination of deliveries, ensuring orders are scheduled efficiently and delivered correctly and on time. You will work closely with customers, drivers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule deliveries efficiently according to routes
- Assign drivers to daily delivery runs
- Liaise with customers to arrange delivery dates and confirm order details
- Provide customers with delivery confirmations the day before and on the day of delivery
- Ensure all dispatch paperwork is completed accurately, filed correctly and delivery validations are processed
- Communicate any production issues that may affect delivery schedules to customers promptly
- Work closely with the Factory Manager to monitor and manage goods out and returns
- Track deliveries and resolve any customer or driver issues quickly and professionally
- Coordinate with third\-party suppliers to ensure packaging and transport requirements are suitable, including international shipping, pallets, and stillages
- Arrange hotel accommodation and vehicle hire for drivers when required
- Produce weekly delivery performance reports
- Deliver excellent customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Support the wider team and carry out additional duties as required by management

- High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities

- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast\-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency and follow\-through
- Previous scheduling or geographic routing experience is advantageous but not essential
