Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and dynamic Shipping Logistics Coordinator to be the engine of our supply chain. You will be the crucial link between our Factories and our customers, managing the flow of toys from our door to theirs.

Duties

• Coordinate all daily outbound shipments (domestic and international) via carriers like FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight forwarders.


• Prepare and verify all critical shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations to ensure smooth border crossings.


• Serve as the main point of contact for carrier representatives, negotiating rates, resolving service issues, and building strong partnerships.


• Proactively monitor shipments in transit, provide timely tracking updates to internal teams (like Customer Service and Sales), and swiftly address any delays or exceptions.


• Work closely with our China team and factories to schedule pickups, confirm order accuracy, and ensure efficient fulfilment operations.


• Audit freight bills for accuracy, manage the logistics budget, and find creative ways to optimize shipping costs without compromising service.


• Investigate and resolve any shipping\-related issues, such as delay, lost packages, damages, or customs holds, with a calm and effective approach.


• Utilise our Trading file and customer portals to maintain accurate shipping data and records.

• 2\+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, coordination, or a similar role. Experience in consumer goods, e\-commerce, or retail is a huge plus!


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip)


• A solid understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and Incoterms.


• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a playful, but demanding, environment.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• A proactive, problem\-solving attitude. You’re a self\-starter who doesn’t wait for issues to find you.
