Logistics Administrator

A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their supply chain team. Reporting into Head of Logistics you will be responsible for overseeing international operations, working with freight providers, warehouse partners, and teams across the globe. If you're passionate about logistics, detail-oriented, and eager to drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment, this role is the perfect next step for you.

Salary £28,000 to £30,000 plus Benefits

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring shipments are booked, tracked, and invoiced accurately.


• Check and verify incoming freight and warehouse invoices weekly, challenging errors or discrepancies to ensure cost control.


• Maintain structured Excel workbooks for cost analysis, weekly activity reporting, and budget tracking.


• Create, check, and issue export documentation in line with customs and compliance requirements.


• Track international shipments, updating movement status and arrival times in SAP.


• Identify and present cost-saving opportunities within freight and warehousing spend.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international supply chain roles.


• Strong working knowledge of export documentation, customs processes, and Incoterms.


• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables for analysis and reporting.


• Practical experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.


• A methodical and structured approach to managing tasks and data, with high attention to detail.
