Prime Medical Consulting is looking for a reliable and professional locum doctor to join our growing clinical team. We are seeking a doctor at SHO level or Specialty Doctor level, ideally with a strong background in general medicine, to support our occupational health and transport\-sector medical services.
Prime Medical Consulting provides private healthcare, occupational health and pre\-employment medical services, including work with PCV and transport companies in London. The company’s public profile highlights its focus on reliable, timely and comprehensive healthcare services for corporate partners, particularly within the travel and transportation sector.
The role
The successful doctor will be responsible for completing medical and health checks for pre\-employment purposes, primarily for transport companies and their employees. The work is structured, professional and well suited to a doctor with good clinical judgement, strong communication skills and confidence in general medical assessment.
The role will be based mainly at our Thornton Heath, CR7 location, with the possibility of occasional cover at other Prime Medical Consulting sites should the need arise.

Role type: Locum / sessional doctor
We are looking for a doctor who has:
- GMC registration and a licence to practise
- Experience at SHO level, Specialty Doctor level or equivalent
- A strong general medical background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional, punctual and reliable approach
- Confidence completing structured medical assessments and clinical documentation
- An interest in occupational health, transport medicals or pre\-employment screening
- Flexibility to provide occasional cover at other locations if required
