<p>Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinical pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care within a busy hospital environment, supporting the pharmacy service during a period of maternity leave cover.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines management, support safe prescribing practices, and contribute to the delivery of patient-centred care across a range of clinical specialties.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide clinical pharmacy services to designated wards and departments.</li>
<li>Review prescriptions and deliver expert advice on medicines optimisation.</li>
<li>Support the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines.</li>
<li>Undertake medicines reconciliation and contribute to discharge planning processes.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Participate in clinical audits, service improvement initiatives, and governance activities.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate patient records and comply with professional and regulatory standards.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).</li>
<li>Have previous hospital pharmacy experience.</li>
<li>Hold a Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy, or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.</li>
<li>Be confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.</li>
<li>Have experience delivering patient-focused clinical pharmacy services within a hospital setting.</li>
