Local SEO Project Manager for Scalable Agency Work (WordPress + GMB + Citations)

Accountabilities:

• Manage and execute local SEO campaigns across a large portfolio of clients spanning multiple industries and locations.


• Install, configure, and maintain WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math, Yoast, and similar optimization tools.


• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles to improve local search visibility and map pack performance.


• Build, audit, maintain, and clean up business citations across major local SEO platforms and directories.


• Implement website optimizations designed to improve local rankings, organic traffic, and conversion performance.


• Monitor campaign performance, track rankings, analyze results, and provide regular reporting and recommendations.


• Coordinate recurring SEO tasks, ensuring timely delivery, process consistency, and high-quality execution across all projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing local SEO campaigns at scale, ideally within an agency or multi-location business environment.


• Strong expertise in Google Business Profile optimization, citation management, and local ranking factors.


• Hands-on experience with tools such as BrightLocal, Yext, Whitespark, Viking, SE Ranking, Google Search Console, Surfer SEO, or similar platforms.


• Solid knowledge of WordPress website management and SEO implementation best practices.


• Demonstrated ability to organize, systemize, and oversee a high volume of concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.


• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.


• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
