Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Live Shopping Host / E\-commerce Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. We are a fast\-growing online retail business selling ladies clothing and mixed products through live shopping and online auction platforms, including TikTok Shop, Whatnot and eBay.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and customer\-focused Live Shopping Host / E\-commerce Sales Assistant to join our team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys fashion, social media, live presenting, sales and connecting with customers. Fashion\-focused candidates and people with a strong interest in online selling are encouraged to apply.
The Role
You will host live shopping shows, present products on camera, engage with viewers in real time and help drive sales across our live shopping platforms. You will also support the wider e\-commerce team with stock preparation, packing orders and general warehouse/studio duties.
The ideal candidate will be confident, energetic, reliable and comfortable speaking on camera. Previous experience in TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay, retail, hospitality, sales or customer service would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
Flexibility is important, and evening and weekend work may be required.
Duties
- Host live shopping sessions across various online platforms, engaging viewers with energetic and informative presentations of products
- Present clothing and mixed products confidently on camera
- Engage with viewers, answer questions and encourage participation
- Showcase products clearly, including size, fit, colour, condition and key features
- Create an exciting, professional and friendly shopping experience
- Help increase sales during live shows and auction\-style events
- Manage live chat and maintain a positive community environment
- Prepare products before live shows
- Fold, tidy and put away items neatly after shows
- Keep the studio and warehouse clean, organised and presentable
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders
- Assist other hosts during live shows where required
- Support daily e\-commerce activities, including product preparation and order handling
- Assist with post\-show feedback, customer comments and basic sales reporting where needed
- Comfortable appearing on camera for live broadcasts
- Friendly, confident and able to keep viewers engaged
- Strong communication skills and a positive personality
- Interested in fashion, clothing, handbags, social media and online shopping trends
- Reliable, organised and willing to learn
- Able to work in a fast\-paced warehouse/studio environment
- Flexible and able to work weekends when required
- Professional appearance and behaviour during live broadcasts
- Previous experience in TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay, retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or presenting is an advantage
- Confidence in public speaking or product presenting is beneficial, but not essential
- Ability to think quickly and adapt during live broadcasts to maintain viewer interest
- Organised with good time\-management skills to coordinate schedules effectively
- Creative flair for presenting products in an appealing manner that drives sales
- Basic technical knowledge of streaming platforms and equipment is advantageous
Pay \& Benefits
- £12–£15 per hour, depending on experience
