Known for our eclectic atmosphere and unforgettable live experiences, we’re looking for a talented Music Consultant to elevate our live music offering and ensure Lock 91 remains a cornerstone of Manchester's music scene.
Role Overview:
As a Music Consultant, you’ll bring your expertise and passion for live music to curate exceptional music events at Lock 91\. This consultancy role offers the flexibility of working alongside other commitments while giving you the opportunity to shape our venue’s musical identity.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Curate and organise a diverse calendar of live music and club events that resonate with our audience.
\- Leverage your established music network to attract top local talent and emerging artists.
\- Coordinate with artists, bands, and club promoters to ensure seamless event execution.
\- Develop innovative ideas for live music nights, including themed events or collaborations.
\- Collaborate with our management team to align music programming with our brand and customer experience goals.
\- Provide advice on marketing strategies to promote events effectively.
\- Maintain an up\-to\-date understanding of music trends and the local live music scene.
Requirements:
\- Minimum 3 years of experience organising live music events in and around Manchester City Centre.
\- Established network of connections within the Manchester music scene, including artists, promoters, and industry professionals.
\- Proven track record of creating successful live music events that draw diverse audiences.
\- Strong understanding of venue operations and the logistical aspects of live performances.
\- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
\- Passion for music and a keen ear for emerging trends and talent.
