Live-in Care Assistant
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalised support to individuals within their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support with meal preparation and housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Help clients adhere to their individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well\-being
- Drive clients to appointments or errands as required, maintaining safe driving practices
- Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns to relevant healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members or care coordinators
- Solid experience working as a live in carer or providing home care is advantageous
- Evidence of undertaking home care training courses
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred
- Solid experience working as a Live In carer or providing home care is advantageous
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ independence and well\-being
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisation and reliability in managing daily tasks
