Literacy Tutor (Part-time) x2

• Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week and 4 days per week positions available)

Our outstanding school in Tower Hamlets is seeking two part time Literacy Tutors to support students with their reading and writing skills. These roles involve working closely with the school’s inclusion team, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with SEN and working with the inclusion team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide targeted literacy support to students across various age groups, including those with special educational needs.


• Develop and implement engaging literacy activities and lessons.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Work closely with the inclusion team and SEN department to integrate effective literacy strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Education, English, or a related field.


• Strong understanding of literacy development strategies.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students.


• Previous experience in a tutoring or teaching role is highly desirable, particularly with SEN children.
