Lift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the North West / North London / Hertfordshire, installing, servicing, and repairing lifts.

Key Responsibilities
------------------------

• Insurance inspections – Attending sites, examining a wide variety of lifting equipment, and issuing detailed reports to clients.


• Condition surveys – Surveying existing plant to provide reports on the incumbent service provider’s service delivery, compliance with current Health \& Safety legislation, Disability Discrimination Act compliance, and short\-, medium\-, and long\-term lift lifecycle analysis.


• Providing overview reports outlining options for refurbishment of existing installations or replacement with new pre\-engineered modular design solutions.


• Equipment audits – Carrying out visual surveys of existing installations to benchmark them against predetermined quality expectations and producing reports.


• Maintenance audits – Providing professional advice on the incumbent service provider’s performance and service delivery, supported by written reports.


• Travelling independently to attend customer sites and premises as required.


• Maintaining up\-to\-date knowledge of lift products and accessories.


• Completing test certificates and associated documentation accurately and on time.


• Adhering to Health \& Safety regulations at all times.


• Working in a methodical, efficient, and professional manner while delivering excellent customer service.


• Carrying out other reasonable duties as required by senior management.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
--------------------------------------

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent experience).


• Proven experience carrying out lift service and maintenance inspections.


• Experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of lift systems independently.


• Experience working autonomously in a customer\-facing role.


• Good written and spoken English.


• Strong understanding of current Health \& Safety procedures and standards.


• Full UK driving licence.

• Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per year

+ NVQ Level 3 (minimum 1 year)
