Lewis and Kaye Sales Assistant

One of Europe’s leading prop hire companies, Farley, specialises in the hire of antique furniture and accessories to the film and television industry. Farley is looking for a bright and committed individual to join its silverware department \- Lewis \& Kaye.

The company was established in 1962 and is a family run business that prides itself on offering high quality products and excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities;

• Assisting set designers, set decorators, event planners and stylists with the selection of silver, china and glass tableware suitable for their production or event


• Building rapport with clients and ensuring they have a positive experience


• Managing telephone, email and website enquiries


• Processing bookings on our in\-house computer system, handling paperwork and correspondence in a timely and professional manner


• Finding and preparing stock items, including silverware, glasses, cutlery etc. from the showrooms, ready for collection


• Packing goods neatly and efficiently


• Checking goods in and out, according to the paperwork


• Maintaining the showrooms and displays, ensuring they’re kept clean, fully stocked and well presented at all times

The ideal applicant would be friendly, hardworking and a great team player. Being punctual, self\-motivated and reliable are also essential. Previous experience in a sales/warehouse/showroom environment would be preferred.

The position is full time, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£29,100\.00 per year
