This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of sales talent and would enjoy combining their industry experience with tutoring and coaching.

The role will initially start small, with a couple of apprentices to manage, with the potential to grow as our provision continues to develop.

What you’ll be doing

As a Sales Tutor, you will be responsible for supporting apprentices throughout their apprenticeship, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to succeed in their sales careers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a small caseload of Level 4 Sales Executive apprentices

  • Delivering engaging and practical learning sessions

  • Providing one\-to\-one coaching and support

  • Helping apprentices apply their learning directly to their workplace

  • Supporting apprentices to build their knowledge, skills and behaviours against the apprenticeship standard

  • Providing constructive feedback and guidance

  • Supporting apprentices with their portfolio and assessment preparation

  • Working closely with employers to ensure apprentices are progressing and receiving the right support

  • Maintaining accurate learner records and completing required documentation

  • Preparing apprentices for their End Point Assessment

  • Keeping up to date with developments within the sales sector and apprenticeship requirements
About you

  • Consultative selling

  • Sales leadership or management

  • Customer relationship management

  • Sales strategy and planning
You’ll need to be confident working with apprentices at different stages of their development and be able to explain sales concepts in a simple, practical and engaging way.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is approachable, supportive and passionate about helping people develop.

Qualifications and experience

Ideally, you will have:

  • Recent and relevant occupational experience within sales

  • Experience of coaching, mentoring, training or developing others

  • Knowledge of the Level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship standard

  • A recognised assessing qualification such as Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), TAQA or an equivalent qualification

  • An Award in Education and Training (AET), or equivalent teaching qualification, would be desirable

  • Experience working within the apprenticeship or training sector would be advantageous
We are also open to experienced sales professionals who have the right industry experience and are interested in developing their career within training and apprenticeships.

What we’re looking for

The ideal person will be:

  • Experienced and confident within sales

  • Passionate about developing others

  • A strong communicator

  • Organised and reliable

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Able to build strong relationships with apprentices and employers

  • Practical and able to relate learning to real workplace situations

  • Supportive and encouraging, while also able to challenge apprentices when needed
The opportunity

This role will initially involve supporting a small number of apprentices, making it a great opportunity for someone who wants to get involved with a growing provision without taking on a large caseload from day one.

As Everything Apprenticeships continues to grow, there is potential for the role and learner caseload to develop alongside the business.
