Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious Secondary School in Blakely for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality classroom support, assist with the delivery of learning activities, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The Role As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.


• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects.


• Assisting students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum effectively.


• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.


• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to maintain a productive learning environment.


• Supporting students both academically and socially throughout the school day.


• Contributing to the overall pastoral care and wellbeing of students.

Essential Requirements Please note that only applicants with previous school-based experience will be considered for this position.

To be eligible, candidates must have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).


• At least 2 years' experience working within an education setting.


• Recent experience supporting students within a school environment.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.


• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
