We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Leisure Centre Assistant to join our team, and help deliver exceptional service with energy and vigor, from our newly renovated facilities, while supporting overall day\-to\-day operations. Currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, our leisure facilities will be even better than before, offering the right candidate valuable opportunities for career growth and development.

Role Summary
As the Leisure Centre Assistant , you will support the Leisure Centre Manager in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our leisure facilities. You’ll help lead the team, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, and deliver outstanding customer service to hotel guests and local members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all daily operations of the leisure centre, including the pool, gym, and wellness areas


• Ensure all health \& safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to


• Support with membership sales and customer queries


• Monitor maintenance needs and liaise with relevant departments


• Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all members and guests

Key Requirements

• Relevant fitness instructor qualification for teaching classes (e.g. ITEC, REPS, RLSS)


• Valid Pool Lifeguard qualification, Level 2 Swim Instructor qualification and First Aid certification


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Flexibility is key as you may need to cover evenings and weekends


• A strong customer\-focused attitude and a passion for health and wellness
