We are seeking an experienced and motivated Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team in the Bristol and South West region. Responsibilities As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments for a variety of clients.
- Provide clear guidance to clients, helping them understand their reports and the necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Respond to client inquiries and assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations.
- Review and quality-check reports prepared by colleagues.
- Identify opportunities to upsell services such as Legionella Management Plans, Monthly Monitoring Programs, and Staff Training.
- Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
- Deliver Legionella Awareness Training courses to clients as required.
- Assist in maintaining quality control standards to uphold LCA certifications.
- Contribute to the development of departmental documentation and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Team.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the water hygiene industry.
- Recognized qualifications such as City & Guilds/WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of HSG274 & ACoP L8 guidance.
- A full, valid driving license.
- Proven experience in producing risk assessment reports that comply with current legislation and guidance.
- Commercial experience in cooling towers.
- Proficiency in computer skills and report writing.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for personal and team development.
- Visiting client sites to perform risk assessments and gather data.
- Preparing detailed reports and discussing findings with clients.
- Collaborating with team members to review and improve documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance client services and presenting solutions.
- Supporting junior colleagues through training and mentorship.
- Participating in departmental meetings to discuss quality control and service improvements.
- A competitive starting salary of £35,000 - £340,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
- A 40-hour work week with core hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and flexibility to meet client needs.
