Legal Cashier

The role of Legal Cashier will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the cashiering function
- Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
- Completing day-end financial procedures in line with compliance requirements
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting processes
- Working closely with an external legal client to maintain high service standards
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal accounting regulations and procedures
- Supporting wider finance operations with additional ad hoc duties as required
As a Legal Cashier, you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following:
- Previous experience within a legal cashiering or similar finance role
- Strong understanding of legal accounting rules and compliance requirements
- Experience handling bank reconciliations and high-volume transactions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience within a law firm or outsourced finance environment would be advantageous
- Familiarity with legal accounting software such as Proclaim or Denovo would be beneficial
