Legal Cashier

RG Consultancy are proud to be working with a well-established law firm in the recruitment of an experienced Legal Cashier. Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Cashier, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further develop their career within legal accounts and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing client and office account payments and receipts


• Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers


• Performing daily bank reconciliations


• Managing CHAPS, BACS transfers


• Processing invoices, supplier payments, and staff expenses


• Handling client money in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules


• Posting bills, transfers, and disbursements


• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts procedures


• Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control processes


• Preparing financial reports for management


• Liaising with fee earners, clients, banks, and suppliers regarding financial matters


• Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and financial regulations


• Supporting audits and compliance checks


• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information


• Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm

• 3 days hybrid working


• 37.5 hours per week (flexi start/ finish times)
