As a Live\-In Care Assistant at Dovida, you temporarily live with a customer and offer personal care, company and practical support so that they can continue to live in their own familiar environment.

What are you going to do?
You are an indispensable link when it comes to personal care, household support and providing company. With your empathetic approach and practical skills, you know how to make the connection again and again with seniors who are dealing with the vulnerability of aging or dementia. In daily work, you work intensively with the national expertise team. Thanks to this close cooperation, your care provision is optimally in line with the individual care plan and the highest quality standards are guaranteed. Thanks to this multidisciplinary approach, a powerful support network is created that is there for you 24/7\.
Core Responsibilities:
- Living and working with the customer for a pre\-agreed period.
- Personal care: Support with general daily activities such as helping with eating, getting in and out of bed, dressing and showering Company \& structure: Providing company, having conversations and providing daily rhythm and structure in the customer's life
- Household chores: Performing light housework such as dusting, vacuuming, making a bed, changing linen, washing and ironing
- Guidance \& transport: Accompanying appointments (hairdresser, doctor), shopping support and taking walks together
- Meal care: Preparing meals that meet the customer's wishes and needs
- Administration \& communication: Keeping digital notes, approving worked hours every week and reporting details to the national expertise team.
You have a natural motivation to support your fellow human beings and want to develop into someone who is excellent at supporting seniors. Thanks to your empathetic nature and practical approach, you can easily make contact and build relationships of trust. You closely follow developments in healthcare and are willing to continuously develop yourself.
Your flexibility:
- Willingness to live with customers for agreed periods
- Flexibly deployable over a period of consecutive weeks and weekends in accordance with CAO VVT
- Friendly and helpful to customers and their families
- Flexibility and adaptability in different living environments
- Reliable, punctual and honest in all activities
- Problem solving ability and firm perseverance
- Work in an orderly and hygienic way with respect for personal belongings
- Sufficient physical condition to carry out care and household tasks
- Good command of the Dutch language for daily conversations
- Willing to attend internal training Experience in a similar position is an advantage but not required — we are happy to train you
