Learning Support Officer

Role: Learning Support Assistants x2 - Greater Manchester
£18 per hour | Full-Time | Temporary

Eden Brown are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join its team on a temporary, full-time basis on behalf of a college in Ashton-under-Lyne.

We have two opportunities available:

1. One-to-One Learning Support Assistant
You will provide dedicated one-to-one support to a student, helping them access their learning, develop independence and engage positively with college life.

Key responsibilities:
Provide tailored one-to-one support to a student in a college setting
Support learning, participation and engagement
Help the student develop confidence and independence
Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals
Provide appropriate pastoral and practical support

2. Mainstream Classroom Learning Support Assistant
You will work alongside teaching staff to support students within a mainstream classroom environment, helping learners overcome barriers and get the most from their education.

Key responsibilities:
Support students within the classroom
Assist learners with their learning and development
Work collaboratively with teaching staff
Encourage positive engagement and participation
Provide additional support to students where required

About You
We are looking for people who are patient, supportive and passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.

Previous experience working in education, colleges, schools, SEND or a similar support role would be beneficial. A relevant qualification is desirable.
