Pay Rate: £90-£110 per day
About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time position will involve supporting a Year 3 class, providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils make strong academic and social progress.
The school prides itself on its nurturing environment and commitment to ensuring every child feels valued and supported. You'll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to tailor support for pupils with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities • Provide targeted support for pupils in Year 3, including those with additional needs.
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management.
- Run small group interventions to boost confidence and understanding.
- Promote positive learning behaviours and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to a caring, inclusive school environment.
- Understanding of supporting children with additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
