Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Suffolk - ASAP Start Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Suffolk, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
The school is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed practitioner with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may require additional academic or emotional support.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - Suffolk
- Position - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- Type of work - Classroom support and targeted interventions
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
- Full time/part-time - Full time
- Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm
- Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
- Experience working with pupils requiring additional learning support desirable
- Relevant LSA, TA or childcare qualifications desirable
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional child-related references
