A well-regarded secondary school in Leeds is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their team for the remainder of the current term.
This role will involve primarily supporting students within the classroom, helping them to engage with learning and achieve their potential. There will also be some 1:1 and small-group support for students who require additional assistance.
Key Responsibilities • Provide classroom support across a range of subjects.
- Work closely with teachers to support learning and student progress.
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions where required.
- Support students with additional learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence and engagement.
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, adaptable and proactive approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
