Minimum Requirements: Proven Learning \& Development experience, ideally within a construction or project based environment, with a track record of designing and delivering training programmes, management development initiatives and workforce development strategies.

As our Learning \& Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing the skills, capability and future talent of our people across the Group. Working closely with leaders and managers, you will create and deliver a Learning \& Development strategy that supports business growth, strengthens leadership capability and promotes a culture of continuous learning. From management development and succession planning to apprenticeships, graduate programmes and training compliance, you will ensure our people have the tools, support and opportunities they need to build successful careers and help drive the continued success of RW Armstrong.
Just some of the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
You'll develop and deliver the Group Learning \& Development strategy, ensuring it supports business objectives and future workforce needs.
You'll partner with leaders and managers across the business to identify training requirements and implement effective development solutions.
You'll lead management development, appraisal, succession planning and career development programmes to support employee growth and progression.
You'll manage the Learning \& Development budget, training providers, grants and funding opportunities, ensuring maximum value and return on investment.
You'll develop apprenticeship, graduate and mentoring programmes while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Where you'll be based
You'll be part of our Group Support team, playing a key role in delivering essential support services across all companies and regions within the Group. You'll be located in the village of Sherborne St John, a ten minute drive from Basingstoke town centre, at our company head office.

The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
You'll have proven Learning \& Development experience, ideally within construction or a similar project based environment.
You'll have experience identifying training needs and designing learning programmes that deliver measurable business impact.
You'll be skilled in sourcing, assessing and managing external training providers and development partners.
You'll have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the business.
You'll possess excellent organisational, analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and data driven decision making.
