Position Summary

What if your Lean expertise could make a visible difference every day?

We are looking for several Lean Industrialization Managers to join our Basel operations and help shape the way complex aviation work is performed. Depending on your background and expertise, you will join one of four exciting areas: Engineering, Production \& Installation, MRO, or Aircraft Completions.

This is not a role where you simply analyze processes and write reports. You will be where the work happens, working alongside operators, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and quality specialists to identify problems, develop solutions, and make improvements happen.

You will have the opportunity to influence productivity, quality, efficiency, and operational performance across highly technical aviation environments and see the results of your work first\-hand.

What you will do:

Find opportunities for improvement by analyzing processes, workflows, bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies.

Make things work better by designing and implementing practical Lean solutions that improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and optimize workflows.

Be close to the action, driving continuous improvement directly on the shopfloor and within operational environments.

Solve problems together with the people who do the work, partnering with operators, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and other experts.

Lead improvement workshops and hands\-on optimization activities using structured problem\-solving and Lean methodologies.

Improve flow and workplace efficiency through smarter layouts, workstation organization, tooling, standards, and process documentation.

Use data to drive decisions, monitoring KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, cycle time, and downtime.

Get to the root of problems, define corrective actions, and make sure improvements are embedded and sustained.

Who you are:

You hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.

You have professional experience in manufacturing, industrialization, process optimization, lean operations, or continuous improvement within aerospace, aviation, MRO, or another technically demanding industrial environment.

You have a strong practical understanding of shopfloor operations, production processes, manufacturing workflows, or aircraft maintenance activities.

You have demonstrated experience analyzing existing processes and implementing measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, cycle time, quality, or operational performance.

You bring a hands\-on mindset and are comfortable working directly with operational teams to translate analysis into practical, workable solutions.

You have strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable corrective actions.

You communicate clearly and build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including operators, technicians, supervisors, engineers, quality specialists, and management.

You are fluent in English. Additional languages are an advantage in our international working environment.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies or certification is desirable.

Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards, MRO environments, production layout optimization, tooling, workstation design, process standardization, or installation activities is an advantage.

You are proactive, solution\-oriented, service\-minded, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

If you enjoy being close to the operation, solving real challenges, and turning ideas into measurable improvements, this could be the opportunity for you.
