Leakage Team Leader

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled Leakage Team Leader to join their growing operations in Dundee. This is a key field-based leadership role focused on reducing water loss, improving network performance, and managing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate field-based leakage detection teams
- Plan and coordinate daily workloads to ensure efficient service delivery
- Identify, locate, and assess leaks using industry-standard detection equipment (e.g. acoustic loggers, correlators)
- Drive reduction in Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and meet performance targets
- Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and support where required
- Liaise with repair teams and operational stakeholders to ensure timely leak resolution
- Maintain accurate records using mobile systems, GIS, and reporting tools
- Conduct site audits and ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Proven experience in leakage detection within the water/utilities sector
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of leak detection techniques and equipment
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
